Teltonika’s Vehicle Tracking System: It is an extreamly rugged vehicle tracking system which can be used effectively for online real time tracking of vehicles on net. It requires GPRS services within its area of operation to send location data acquired through GPS to a remote web server which places this data on Google maps, Virtual earth or on any other provided map. In areas where GPRS coverage is not available, it stores the data for days and sends the data to the server once the device connects through GPRS. Apart from basic tracking, the highend model of the device can support four digital inputs which can give various indications like AC on/off indication, ignition on/off indication etc. Voice functionality can also be activated in the highend model. The lowend model can only support two digital inputs and is without voice functionality. Also highend model comes with half hour internal battery which is absent in lowend model. SMS based vehicle immobilization feature can be activated in both the models through which current to vehicle's starter motor can be stopped and started by just sending an SMS to the device SIM card.
Teltonika's Personal Tracking Devices: It is a device of the size of a mobile phone which can be used for live tracking, to call one predefined number, to send alarm SMS and alarm calls, to provide various device information like location co-ordinates, IMEI number, battery level etc. through SMS and various other features. It can be used as a data logger to save large number of co-ordinates and later-on export them to various formats like CSV. Its silent call function can be used for covert use. Its battery can last for days if the device is configured properly.
Satguide's data logger: It is a small but immensly useful device which can be used for offline tracking. The data can be exported to CSV format which can be placed on roadsofindia.com website to see the route taken by the vehicle at some earlier time. It can be used covertly as well as for survey purpose.
